A recent survey by Etsy found that of 5,500 of those based in America who are selling through the site, 97% are working from home. For a lot of those people, their Etsy selling is quite serious: 74% consider it a business, not a hobby. These are just some of the people who really need scrapbook room storage and a stackable 9 cube organizer or two to keep things at home organized.

  • We all need our homes to be better organized. Whether you’re selling on Etsy or not, you very likely need storage space. The average home in the United States is holding 300,000 separate items. America is also home to about 21 million quilters, all of whom need room for their items. The average home in the United States has tripled over the past 50 years. And Forbes says that while the average American woman was the proud owner of just nine outfits back in 1930, the average modern American woman has 30.
  • What the stackable 9 cube organizer does to help. Ok, so it doesn’t have to be a stackable 9 cube organizer. It can be a 12 cube organizer, a 3 shelf organizer, craft cubes, or magnetic canisters. It can be drawers or it can be shelved. But organizing doesn’t just save time; it also saves angst. The Daily Mail estimates that the average person will throw away 153 complete days of their lives looking for things they’ve lost. And scientists now know that we use up just a bit of our emotional strength every time we make a decision. Since we only have so much capacity to make decisions while looking through unorganized things, this means we’re wasting unnecessary time and strength by living in a disorganized state.
  • What the stackable 9 cube organizer does to save money. We don’t just waste our time and our emotional strength by having all our things disorganized. If you’re trying to make any kind of money out of your crafting or quilting, you’re losing money every time you stop working and start hunting for things. Storage and organization furniture is one way of making sure you’re getting the most out of your hobby or home business.
  • How to start getting organized. The best craft room designs are the ones that work in the space you have. As a first step, think about the broad categories of items you need on a regular basis. Paper, thread, stamps, inks, etc. How many categories do you have? This gives you an idea of whether you need a stackable 9 cube organizer or some kind of smaller modular cube storage. Then you can determine what fits in your space, whatever size it might be.

Isn’t it time that you organized your craft room, quilting supplies, or just your closet? Don’t go on wasting time, money, and strength trying to figure out where things are. Get yourself some storage furniture and get to work organizing your life!
