Dentures are a tooth replacement option and offer various patient benefits. Dentures have a variety of materials, including acrylics and metals. Dentists may recommend dentures for those who have lost all or some of their teeth if the person is healthy enough for them. Dental implants can sometimes offer you better results than traditional denture treatment.

There are two main types of dentures: partial and complete dentures. Partial dentures allow you to keep your natural gum tissue. They provide proper chewing abilities and similar benefits typically associated with full dentures. Partial dentures are less complicated and can include three or more attachments around the teeth they replace. It allows you to replace individual teeth one at a time or all at once.

Complete dentures require the removal of all-natural teeth and surrounding gum tissue from the mouth. Most people only wear them at night when they sleep to prevent discomfort throughout the day.
