“I feel great because I got two quality hours of sleep last night,” said no one, ever. The American Sleep Foundation reports that about 66% of Americans have trouble getting sleep that makes them feel refreshed or renewed. The other 33% of Americans are the good looking ones who do well at work. So, what do you have to do to make it into their clan? Get some rest.
Maintain a consistent, healthy weight.
The American Chiropractic Association says that sleeping puts about 50 pounds of weight on your spine alone. If your weight fluctuates often, the muscles that support your spine might not follow suit. We don’t all live in a bed adjustable where our pillow tops perform according to how must pressure our spine is feeling. So, if you can’t get an electric adjustable beds, at least get exercise and eating habits that support a healthy, consistent weight.
Consider your options.
Pretty people change things up when things start to get ugly. They switch face creams. They move around their schedules. They make their bed adjustable by stopping electric beds around town. The point is not to settle but to keep pushing until you find the equilibrium that really works. Trying is hard, but the results are worth it. Some adjustable beds even come with a messager! Sounds good, right?
Let it all go.
Pretty people walk around with big smiles instead of frowny faces. Bad things happen to them, too. But they have better coping mechanisms! Learn to let go of the tensions that might store in your body and your face. You carry those around all day and others certainly notice.
No one wants to be all frowny-faced but many people just don’t know how to get out of their funk. Start by listening to your body, adjusting as needed, and finding ways to let everyday stress go. You’ll go from frowny-faced to fresh-faced in no time!
