If you’ve invested in an Amish built shed, you know just how beautiful they are. Not only are these wooden sheds durable, but they are so beautiful sitting in your backyard. The greatest part about a wooden shed, as opposed to an aluminum shed, is that they are so much more customizable. You can paint your Amish built shed pretty much any color you like from soft dove grey to bright red or even a deep teal. You can also hang little trinkets and chimes to make it stand out! The beauty of having a wooden, Amish built shed is that you can ensure there is no other one like it on your block!

Once you order your Amish furniture, you know it can take about 12 to 16 weeks for it to arrive. In the meantime, you can start looking online for ideas of how to decorate your Amish built shed. The general rule is that Amish furniture that is made custom takes about 8 weeks, which gives you a good chunk of time to think about ideas. It does take quite some time for your Amish built shed to arrive, but hey, 100% of Amish furniture is hand-crafted. Good things take time!

Here are some ideas for how to decorate your wooden shed.

1. Adding a pop of color

By choosing a muted color, like creme or light grey for the outside of your shed, and then choosing a brighter color for the door of your shed, you can ass a splash of color for a unique look.

2. Hanging plants

Hanging plants can be a great way to give your shed a very feminine and natural look. If you are a fan of florals, you can purchase some hooks and hanging planters and fill them with your favorite flowers and plants.

3. Add some fairy lights

For a really magical feel, try adding some fairy lights. Fairy lights are tiny light (like Christmas tree lights) that give your shed a perfect little glow that looks like fireflies. For even more of a twist, try purchasing strings of outdoor-safe lights that come in a variety of shapes, colors, and sizes, from globes to stars to tiny flamingoes!

4. Hang flags and chimes

An inexpensive way to bring your shed to life and make it stand out among any others in your neighborhood is by hanging chimes or flags. You can go patriotic and hang an American flag or a flag from your favorite country you’ve visited on a trip. You could hand chimes made of shells, sea glass, bamboo, or beads, and give it some character! If you’re crafty, you can even make a DIY chime yourself.

As you can see, there are several ways to decorate your Amish built shed. From easy chimes to a fresh coat of paint, you can make your shed unlike anyone else’s! Do you have any ideas for how you want to decorate your Amish built shed? Let us know in the comments!
